Power Up! Keeping Youth in Sport
After a successful first event in 2023, the Power Up! Keeping Youth in Sport one-day forum is returning on Tuesday 26 November 2024 from 8.30 am to 3.00 pm.
Organised by Nuku Ora and College Sport Wellington, the forum will be held at Te Kupenga o Rongomai - Maidstone Sports Hub in Upper Hutt.
This event is targeted at RSOs, Clubs, Coaches, Sport Directors, Principals, and anyone involved in youth sport.
The forum will focus on the people, programmes, and environment that support a balanced approach to Sport in the Wellington region.
Topics will include.
- The Sports Pathways Framework for Wellington
- Update on the Integrity Code from the Sport Integrity Commission
- Supporting coaches in clubs and schools
- Creating a positive sideline experience for our Rangatahi
Cost: $70.00. Morning tea and lunch are included.
